The Bunny "Tot"

Jeff was working on a watergarden and found this baby bunny crying. He put it in a box and brought it home for us to feed it. Brittney fell in love with him and named him Tot. She babied the bunny for about 18 hours, until it figured out how to get away. Wild bunnies just weren't born to be tamed!

New Hair Do's

We went the other day to get all of our hair done (with the exception of Jeff) and Britt talked her daddy into letting her get her hair hi-lited. We couldn't wait to take her picture in the cap, or at least Austin couldn't. He thought this was really funny. The end product looks really pretty and she is just very beside herself with her new hair.

Austin decided that day that he couldn't go with a buzz cut like he thought, so we left him about an inch all over. It looks really cute and it is much cooler for the football season!

Isn't this beautiful?

I wanted to show you what beautiful work that Jeff just did. He competed a beautiful watergarden for a doctor here on the lake. The first picture shows Jeff with the guys that helped him on the project. The other pictures are different views of the watergarden. The project was so large that I couldn't get it in one picture!!

Crosspoint

The youth group from FBC went to a great camp. It was at Converse College in Sparanburg, SC. The camp was called Crosspoint. Brittney and the other youth found this camp to be very uplifting. I have never seen over 30 kids come back with such enthusiasm about church and God. I can't wait to get the pictures to share with you of their experience while they were there. I recommend that everyone interested in finding a camp for their teen, look into this one.

Also, our older youth left this morning for Passport, a mission camp in Georgia. Please keep them in your prayers as they travel and spend time learning more about God's work.

Children's Music Camp at FBC

Austin and a lot of children from our church and community participated in a great Music camp at our church this summer. I was not able to get any pictures of the camp to put on the blog, but I got some really cute ones of the icecream party afterwards.

Austin and Shelbi look really cute, though Austin doesn't want to be in the picture! Here is a lot of the group as they enjoy their refreshments and play time!!

Isn't this a great picture of Kim and Paul?
Jeff and Matt look entrenched in conversation. Wonder what they're talking about?
Just one more picture of the fun!!

Last day with Belle

We sold my horse Belle at the beginning of the month. It was realy hard on all of us to see her go, but after all of the other tragedies we have had with our horses, we couldn't bear another one. We sold her to a young girl who wil give her the attention and love that she deserves. We will really miss her though!

Our Visitor

We had a visitor the other day. I thought this was pretty cool to get a picture of the groundhog up in the tree off of our front porch. He staryed for a really long time. Not sure what got him up there.

Re-doing Britt's Bedroom

Recently we started re-doing Britt's bedroom. She was ready for it not to look so much like a "little" girl anymore. She wanted me to show the pictures of the doing and after of her dresser we worked so hard on. Doesn't it look great?

Kelly's Birthday

Sorry it took me so long to get the pictures from Kelly's party posted to the blog. Summer has been crazy running around. We had a great time, hope everyone else did!

A New Tent

The kids couldn't stand it. Jeff bought a new tent for us to go camping later this summer and they had to break it in, so over the week of the 4th this is where they stayed!!!

You gotta love it!

Lone Mountain

I couldn't help but snap a shot on my camera on the last day of Lone Mountain camp for Austin. He loves this camp, it is all outside and everything a boy could want.

Fun day at Bouncin' Kids

Austin and Ethan talked me in to taking them to Bouncin' Kids after their camp at Lone Mtn. a couple of weeks ago. I didn't have my camera, so I had to use the one on my phone which isn't the greatest, but I still thought they were fun!!
