Talk Time

I haven't written in a while to let everyone know what has been going on in my life lately. Many things have changed over the pas couple of weeks so here goes.

I have been back to the doctor on several occasions and we are ruling out things one by one. We have determined that one of my vitamin d's is low and my calcium is low. All of the other tests are leading now to premenapausal issues. I will keep you posted on this as I learn more.

We found out that my step mother has brain cancer about a week and a half ago. The lung cancer has spread. They are staying very optomistic and she has started the radiation treatments. They will go for about three weeks with the treatments and then will retest. Please keep her, my father and our family in your prayers.

On two upbeat notes:

I quite smoking last Saturday. It has been a week today without one. It has been easier than I thought. Last weekend when I found out the full diagnosis of Cathie and being at the Revolve Tour, something worked on me and I threw them out. It has been a lot easier this time, no major cravings and no breakdowns!!!

Brittney got her braces off this week too!! Wow how grown up she looks. I will put a picture of her new smile on here later today. She has been all grins all week!!

Enought about us. Please keep us in your prayers and I will see you all soon.

I am sorry to hear about your stepmother. I will keep you and your family in my prayers.

CONGRATS on quiting smoking. One week is a big accomplishment. Keep going...one day at a time. You will start feeling so much better. You are doing a great thing for yourself. I will be 10 months smoke-free on Feb 15 and I am so proud of myself. :o) I was okay this time too......it was just a different feeling than when I quit in the past. You WILL do it!!!

Shannon, we are so very proud of you! Quitting smoking and joining the church! You are right where God wants you to be. You have got everything together now, slow down and enjoy, because time goes by in a hurry. You have such a blessed life, I know you will be a good servant to our Lord. We love all of you so much. This has been our
prayer for years. Can't wait to see y'all. Let's get together soon.
Thanks for asking for prayer for us. We want all the prayers we can get.
