Revolve Tour Jan 08

Jenny Julien, Amanda Berry and I took 5 of our teen youth to the Revolve Tour for Teen Girls. This was produced by the group the does the Women of Faith Tour. What a wonderful convention for any teen girl to attend. I highly recommend anyone with a girl that is at least 11 to attend this next January in Greensboro. Look into the subject matter that was covered and the musicians that were there. Our girls had such a great time they all have said that if we don't take them back next year, they will find someone that will.

Cake and Gift Time

The cake for the shower was absolutely beautiful and tasted extremely yummy!! You all really outdid yourselves with the food and hospitality!!
Brooke received a lot of great things for new baby Greyson (sp?). I know that her and Kenny can wait for him to get here.

Brooke's Baby Shower

The baby shower for Brooke was wonderful. It was given by Laura, Nina, Cathy, Andrea, etc.etc. (if I left your name out, it was not on purpose) at Laura's house. The hostesses really outdid themselves. It was a great time for everyone, especially Brooke.

I thought I would share as many of the pictures as I could so that everyone could get what they wanted.
Here is Christy, me, Wilma and Larissa

Laura and Ali, aren't they cute!?!

The end of a long day

Success with the snowmen, even a day later. This was so fun. Austin made his face and hair with doggy treat (which Twinkie ate as you can see in the pictures below!!)

It is always fun to come in and warm up. We made my mom's snowcream recipe and Alexis, Kellen and Britt helped.

More fun in the snow!

After a while we invited Kellen and Alexis down to play with the kids. This is the first time they have both had enough snow to play. They had so much fun.

SNOW DAY!!!!!!!!!

Snow days are so much fun!! It has been such a long time since we have had enough snow to even make it fun, much less snow men. Thought I would show you some of the fun pics of the day.

Wacky Tacky Day

I love Wacky Tacky Day, and so does Britt. It took her forever to get dressed this morning. I had to get a picture of her, this may be the last year she thinks this is fun.

The Eighties are Back!!!

We make the Eighties look great don't we? Yes, pastels and light blue eye shadow were big back then, just like the hair!!!

Jeff was the Prep (of course) and I went in Go-Go's style

Kellie went in preppy Valley Girl fashion and Geoff was the jock.

Cathy went in Valley girl fashion , Jon we're not sure!! But they are still cute aren't they?!?!?

Here is Rich in Miami Vice fashion and Nina in the Madonna look!

Mark and Cindy have the pastels going as good as it gets with the powder blue jacket and eyeshadow.

Connie and Johnnie are just here to have fun!! They have a great excuse for not dressing up~Appalachian takes presidence!!
