I ws thinking while sitting here watching Austin practice his speach, just how fast life goes. We go through our everyday life like robots, so attuned to our normal routines that we don't stop to notice the things that are really important. Some of the things I began to think about were frends dealing with sick grandparents, while others go through a nasty divorce. It began to put the little things we overlook into perspective.
I need to slow down and watch the kids as they grow and change. Not just exist with them. The little things like tomorrows speech for Austin, or Britt's 13th birthday party Friday (her first real boy/girl party - pray for us please!!) are too important for me to miss.
Just a thought!
